There are certain jewelry silhouettes you recognize instantly. A deep blue sapphire framed in diamonds is one of them.

My Diana Collection takes that iconic combination and gives it the details I love in old jewelry.

The 2.46ct no-heat sapphire sits at the center, surrounded by 1.583ctw of natural diamonds. I chose an antique-inspired multi-prong setting for the diamonds. You see more individual definition around each stone, almost like a delicate crown of diamonds rather than a simple modern halo.

The diamonds are set in 14k white gold for maximum brightness and sparkle. The center sapphire stays in 14k yellow gold, along with the enhancer bail. That mix of metals gives the piece a more collected, high-jewelry feel.

And that XL enhancer bail changes everything.
