This one of a kind bracelet started with a vintage Jaeger LeCoultre watch crafted in solid 18k yellow gold. Rather than restoring its nonfunctioning movement, I chose to transform it into something even more extraordinary. A jewel that honors its history while giving it an entirely new life.

The original watch case has been beautifully preserved, while the movement and dial have been removed to make way for a magnificent 2.45 carat Ceylon sapphire in the coveted cornflower blue hue. Around it sits a vivid halo of tsavorite garnets, followed by the watch's original halo of sparkling natural diamonds. The original crown remains intact on the underside of the case, a subtle reminder of the piece's past life as a fine timepiece.

The greatest challenge was the sapphire itself. Finding a round Sapphire of high caliber to the exact diameter required to fit seamlessly inside a vintage Jaeger LeCoultre watch case was an extraordinary task. It is the kind of detail that makes a piece like this virtually impossible to recreate.

The richly woven 18k gold bracelet gives the piece remarkable presence. Its supple texture drapes beautifully around the wrist, while the sculptural centerpiece catches the light from every angle. It feels vintage, luxurious, and completely unexpected. At first glance, it invites curiosity. Then it tells its story.
